Welcome to Flourish, a brand built on the idea that art is meant everywhere, not just in art galleries.

I’m Rachel Harper, a fine artist, wife, and mom living in Southern Utah. My days hold both the work of creating and the everyday rhythms of family. Motherhood has shaped the way I see this world. Living through the loss of our son changed the way I appreciate raising our daughters. Noticing small details, finding meaning in familiar moments, and learning that something can be beautiful without being perfect. That perspective is at the heart of what I create.

What I Believe About Art

I believe art begins with noticing. The way light falls across a room. The colors that appear in a landscape when you stay a little longer. The quiet beauty of something you might otherwise pass by.

I believe art should make you feel something. It doesn’t need to come with a perfect explanation or require you to know the right words. Sometimes a piece simply makes you pause, reminds you of somewhere you love, or feels like a part of your own story.

I believe beauty belongs in everyday life. Not just in galleries or on special occasions, but in the spaces where we gather, raise our families, rest, and begin again. A piece of art can become a familiar presence in a home, something that continues to speak to you over time.

I believe making art requires both courage and curiosity: the willingness to begin without knowing exactly where a piece will lead, to make changes, and to leave room for discovery. I’m drawn to the humanity in that process, the choices and imperfections that make a work feel alive.

And I believe your connection to a piece matters. What you see in it, what it brings to mind, and how it makes you feel become part of its story.
